A quiet Vietnamese - Pham Xuan An

Mấy hôm nay đọc nhiều về ông, coi 1 film tài liệu do VN làm. Càng đọc càng khâm phục 1 con người bình dị, thông minh và cực kỳ hài hước. Đáng tiếc là ông ko còn nữa. Những con người như ông thật sự đáng được vinh danh như một anh hùng dân tộc chứ không phải để lãng quên vào quá khứ. Một chút ngậm ngùi cho số phận một con người, một nhân cách lớn của dân tộc. Chia sẻ với ông nỗi xót xa khi phải chứng kiến Sài gòn trước khi thất thủ và TP HCM bây giờ.

Đang chờ cuốn sách này "Perfect Spy: The Incredible Double Life of Pham Xuan An, Time Magazine Reporter and Vietnamese Communist Agent" của Larry Berman.

Update 1: nhận được sách ngày 9/11, đúng ngày bức tường Đông Đức sụp đổ. And this is my Facebook status "I bought a book from Amazon France. It was actually from an American bookseller and it shipped from New Zealand. The guy who gave me the book is an immigrant from Maroc. Amazing!! Is that what we called "the world is flat"??? Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, this book is a story about a Vietnamese person ;)"

Update 2: đọc xong cuốn này ngày 16/12, nhâm nhi đọc cũng hơn 1 tháng. My FB status update: just finished a second book about a Vietnamese hero. Some people called him a "master of spies" but for me he is a "master of life". I admire him because he knew exactly how to deal with different kind of people in different time. He is extremely inteligent, an ideological person and an ardent nationalist. He will be an image for me to look at now and then...
